The CARDIP PPS Pro Clear BaseCoat 7080 is the basis of the multi-layer process developed and patented by CARDIP for liquid car wrapping and the core of the solvent-based CARDIP peelable paint spray film system.
The innovative Easy-Peel-Polymer™ forms a colorless and permanently elastic film coating by spraying, which can be removed easily and without residue if required. The product is compatible with all common automotive base coats and can therefore be painted over in any desired color and effect if required.
The special feature of this state of the art peelable paint protection spray (PPS) is its focus on maximum transparency and optimum leveling. This BaseCoat is therefore the first choice for use as a transparent stone chip protection film / paint protection film, especially on dark and light-colored surfaces. Special wetting agents ensure easy wetting of all substrates (paint, metal, chrome, etc.), allowing the BaseCoat to be applied to almost any substrate. The low-VOC, high-solids formulation ensures high film thicknesses with few spray coats and very easy removal, even after years. The leveling agents integrated in the product ensure a smooth surface structure, as known from modern automotive paints.

7070 Deep Black and 7060 Pure White make it possible to color the transparent PPS Pro Clear BaseCoat 7080. The BaseCoat can therefore be applied directly in the target color or as a base tone from black to grey to white, thus helping to save application time and paint material.
The pigment concentrates are optimally matched to the PPS Pro Clear BaseCoat 7080 and do not impair the function of the film due to the low addition of less than 5%.

Thermoflexible Film (TFX)
The innovative polymer of the 70 Series BaseCoat forms a thermoflexible film that has a high hardness at normal temperatures. As surface temperatures rise (from 70°C), the film becomes soft and elastic. This technology enables the spray film to achieve high hardness and resistance at normal ambient temperatures and therefore a long service life. At the same time, it can be easily removed by selective heating.
Compatible with all base coats
The CARDIP 70 Series BaseCoat can be overcoated with water-based and solvent-based automotive basecoats, making it possible to create any conceivable color effect in the form of a residue-free removable film. CARDIP ist entwickelt worden für die temporäre Beschichtung von Oberflächen zu Schutz- und Dekorationszwecken zum Einsatz an Außenkarosserien von Fahrzeugen. Das Verfahren gilt als Innovation im Bereich der Fahrzeugfolierung und bietet Anwendern und Kunden die Möglichkeit, nahtlose Folierungen im Spritzverfahren mit der Optionsvielfalt und Qualität einer Lackierung herzustellen.

Häufig gestellte Fragen FAQ - Sprühfolie BaseCoat
Der Kern des CARDIP Sprühfolien Systems, der Aqua+ BaseCoat besteht aus einer Mischung spezieller Polymere, die in Wasser dispergiert werden. Die CARDIP Sprühfolie ist daher chemisch betrachtet ein in Wasser gelöster Kunststoff, der durch Zugabe verschiedener Additive einen Folienfilm mit den finalen Eigenschaften bildet. Da der Aqua+ BaseCoat wasserbasierend und Low-VOC ist, ist dieser zudem umweltfreundlich.
Der CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat kann mit einer handelsüblichen Basislackpistole appliziert werden, wie bspw. einer SATA 5500B RP / HVLP. Die optimale Düsengröße liegt bei 1,2 - 1,3mm.
Der CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat ist verfügbar in transparent, schwarz und weiss und lässt sich optional mit handelsüblichem Wasserbasislack überlackieren. Da die Oberfläche des Aqua+ BaseCoat nach der Trocknung hart wird, lässt sich auch ein Design abkleben und auflackieren wie bei einer klassischen Lackierung.
Aufgrund der Vorwärme in der Druckluftleitung bei Stickstoff-Systemen wie bspw. Karmatec, kann es zu Komplikationen bei der Applikation der Sprühfolie kommen. Daher empfehlen wir den Einsatz von konventioneller Druckluft.
Der CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat kann auf nahezu jedem festen und nicht saugfähigen Substrat / Untergrund appliziert werden. Dazu gehören hochwertige Kunststoffe (ABS, PE, PP, etc.), Glas, sowie alle Metalle. Da der Aqua+ BaseCoat wasserbasierend ist, greift er selbst unlackierte Oberflächen nicht an. Durch den Einsatz spezieller Netzmittel, ermöglicht der Aqua+ BaseCoat sogar das beschichten von strukturierten Oberflächen, wie bspw. Strukturkunststoff.
