Description

CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080 is the base of the Multi-Layer Process™ developed and patented by CARDIP for liquid automotive film and the core of the CARDIP Peelable Paint System.

The innovative Easy-Peel-Polymer™ forms a colorless and permanently elastic film coating during the spraying process, which can be easily peeled off without leaving any residue when required. The product is compatible with all common water-based automotive paints, allowing it to be painted to any desired shade and effect as needed.

The special feature of this state of the art peelable spray film is its focus on efficiency and performance. Special wetting agents ensure easy wetting of all substrates (paint, plastic, metal, chrome, etc.), allowing the BaseCoat to be applied to almost any substrate. The low-VOC high-solid formulation ensures extremely high film thicknesses with few spray runs and very easy removability even after years. The leveling agents integrated in the product ensure low surface texture, as known from modern OEM coatings.

In addition, the CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat offers the user easy application due to incorporated marking agents that escape during the drying process. This ensures that all areas of the substrate are coated evenly and that the coating thicknesses are achieved in all areas.

CARDIP Aqua+ BaseCoat 5080 is clear! The spray film is colored in the course of application by spraying water-based paint on top of it. The paint CARDIP Aqua+ Color 600 in your desired color can be ordered separately. Alternatively, you can use your own waterborne paint for coloring as shown in the pictures.
